facility hire

Our facilites at Rathkenny Stud are available to hire by private individuals or by other coaches wishing to run clinics.

We have a beautiful indoor arena with an Andrews Bowen Prowax surface. Our indoor arena is 22 x 45m.

Our outdoor is an Andrews Bowen with Propell surface. We have a set of FEI jumps by JP Equestrian and a set of Jump for joy too. (see photos)

We have a lovely 100m x 80m grass arena available in the drier months with or without jumps.

Also available is our gallop. (coming soon)

International size

Andrews Bowen Outdoor arena :
Private hire £30 per hour for up to 2 horses and then £5 for subsequent  horses in the same hour.
Hire for a clinic (4 hours plus) is £25 per hour

* Discounts and loyality schemes may be available for those who use the arenas regularly. 

Hire Costs

Private hire £24 per hour for up to two horses and then £5 for subsequent horses in the same hour.

Hire for a clinic (4 hours plus) is £20 per hour

Lights, if required, will be an additional cost. (£5 per an hour)

Our Gallops are 5 furlongs long on a great carpet surface. The gallops start on a hill and gradually level off around a right hand sweeping bend before they start climbling a gradual hill again to the finish.  

£18 for the first horse incl VAT. £15 for any horse after that. 4 horses at a time max. BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
